Our Chefs & Team

At La Terrazza, we pride ourselves on serving delicious cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. Our chefs use only the freshest ingredients to create dishes that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you wanting more. 


Our menu features a wide variety of dishes, from classic favourites to innovative new creations. Whether you're in the mood for seafood, steak, or vegetarian options, there's something for everyone at La Terrazza.


With over 40 years of combined industry experience, the owners of La Terrazza have come together to bring the clientele of Bedford a truly exquisite dining experience. Our Head Chef, Daniele Malandra has worked in Bedford's most known restaurants and has accrued his chef skills while working at restaurants such as St Helena and the Plough at Bolnhurst among many others.


Chef Marco Zarrella joins the team with extensive experience, having started his career at an early age, working as a junior chef under Daniele at The Cross Keys country pub and the Swan in Milton Keynes. Most recently, Marco has worked at the highly reputable Fratelli's in Ampthill and has spent much of his personal time shadowing Michelin star chefs at restaurants such as Luca, London.  Marco is passionate about his craft and brings additional strength to the current kitchen team, meaning our flavours and speed of service are enhanced to give you an overall flawless experience. 


Our front of house service team is lead by Naz Dida who is the main host and owner of La Terrazza. Naz has a deep passion for taking care of people and ensuring that each guest is given the highest level of care and attention during their experience with La Terrazza. We hand-pick our front of house team to ensure that each individual is an accurate representation of our restaurant and standards.
